Breakfast & After School Club - Meet the Staff

Our aim at Middleton Parish Breakfast and After School Club is to provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all our children to have fun, play and learn. We have six members of qualified, experienced staff working before and after school.

At our Breakfast and After School Club we are committed to healthy eating. All our snacks are homemade and adhere to the guidelines set out by "Golden Grin" which is an award presented to Before and After School clubs which fulfil the guidelines for providing healthy snacks. We are very proud that we have gained the Golden Grin Award for the fourth year running. We have four different menus which change weekly and the children are offered a wide variety of snacks. You can see (and print out) our menus using the links at the bottom of this page.

Breakfast Club opening hours are from 7.45am onwards
We offer the children a variety of cereals, toast, bagels, crumpets, fruit and yogurts. Fruit juice, milk and water are also available. Breakfast is served 7.45 - 8.30

After School Club opening hours are 3.20pm – 5.30pm.
We offer a variety of homemade, healthy snacks including tuna pasta, spaghetti, and sandwiches with assorted fillings. All our snacks are served with fresh fruit, milk or water. Our menu is always avilable.


We offer a wide range of activities which are suitable for Reception children through to Year 6. Within our Breakfast and After School Club Room we have areas set up for both idependent and adult led play. Planning is changed weekly and the planned activities include:-   

Indoor Play:- ie

  • Creative art and design
  • Co-operative play
  • Dance and drama
  • Cooking and baking
  • Nintendo Wii
  • Cosy area, books
  • DVD's
  • Role Play area

Outdoor Play:- ie

  • Group Games
  • Ball Games
  • Skipping Games
  • Chalking
  • Playground Games
  • Topic Related Activities
  • Sand and Water Play

These activities are available for all children to freely choose.

The fees for each session are:-

Breakfast Club   - £3.70  
Afterschool Club - £6.80  

Fees are payable in advance by cash or cheque

Please note that a late fee of £5.00 will be charged
for children who are collected after 5.30 pm

Booking a Place

If you wish your child to be included in any of the above clubs please speak to a member of staff in the office. If places are not available for the dates/days you require, your child’s name will be added to our waiting list and you will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available.
