PSHE - WE ARE 21ST CENTURY CITIZENS...

Personal Social Emotional and Economic (PSHE) education is an integral part of our whole school teaching programme. Topics covered include communication skills, financial awareness, keeping healthy, keeping safe, drug/alcohol/tobacco awareness, healthy relationships, celebrating our differences and bullying.

Work is planned to ensure progression and that it is appropriate for all ages and abilities within our school. We aim to develop children's skills and prepare them for their future by encouraging them to be resilient, respectful, resourceful, responsible and reflective learners.

We believe spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (SMSC) to be a strength at Middleton Parish School.
