Welcome to the SEND pages of the Parish website.
We hope to provide you with lots of information to help you understand how we support all children at our inclusive school.
SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and SENDCo is the Co-ordinator for children (and families) with any of these needs.
My role within school is to offer support to any child (and their family) who may need extra help to access the curriculum or day to day life within school. I make sure that children with Special Educational Needs receive this help and that we work hard as a team to support what they require in order for them to aim high and thrive. I also support teachers in implementing any personalised provision that a child may need, as well as coordinating referrals to some of our outside agencies in order to seek extra, specialised support and advice.
If you have any questions regarding our SEND provision please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office at;

Our strong team of experienced staff are committed to providing excellent, high quality education to all of our pupils, including those identified as having SEND. We believe that all of the children in our community are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum and work hard to try to achieve this.
We appreciate that some members of our school may find learning trickier than others, and consequently, we offer enhanced, adapted and supported activities and lessons to help each child achieve their potential.
Rochdale's Local Offer for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) outlines various information and advice on what help is available for children and young people with SEN and/or a disability and their families. It is easily available by clicking on the link below.
